Smiles and tears as Busquets and Alba say farewell to Barcelona fans
The duo made their final home appearances for the Catalan club on Sunday
Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets said farewell to Spotify Camp Nou in style.
The fans rewarded the two FC Barcelona legends with an emotional ovation after being substituted in the 3-0 win over Mallorca.
It was one of the most emotional moments of the evening.
Xavi Hernández decided to give them both the opportunity, separately, to celebrate their last home game as Barcelona players with the biggest of smiles.
The Blaugrana fans were generous with both of them and dedicated several chants to them.
Alba, who Marcos Alonso replaced, was overcome with emotion as he arrived back on the bench.
The full-back, overcome with emotion, could not hold back his tears as he said goodbye to the club after 11 seasons with the first team.
Four minutes later, Busquets also left the pitch to make way for Eric Garcia. His teammates came over to shake his hand and join the fans in applauding him for his career.
