Samuel Umtiti, who has been out for over a month with a knee injury, could return to the Barça starting XI against Atletico Madrid this weekend.
After fully recovering from his injury, the player is confident he's turned his season around. Umtiti even told Cadena SER that he'd lost weight in order to reduce the stress on his body.
His return to the lineup would be bad news for Clement Lenglet. His fellow countryman has been impressive alongside Pique and he isn't out of the running to retain his place in the team for the match against Atletico, even with Umtiti available.
Lenglet knows that his time will come eventually. "I'd like to be Pique's successor but I've still got a long way to go. He's done so much for this club and has won so many titles."
