What an image to end the match. After Barcelona's 4-2 win at RCDE Stadium on Sunday, a group of Espanyol fans jumped onto the pitch at the end of the match and prevented the Blaugrana players from celebrating the LaLiga title.
The Barça squad had to end the celebrations early and flee down the tunnel to avoid further harm. The security forces acted quickly to control the incidents, but the fans stayed on the pitch and threw all kinds of things.
Both the stadium's security forces and the Mossos d'Esquadra protected the entrance to the tunnel to ensure that no one from either team suffered physical harm.
Goals from Lewandowski (2), Balde and Koundé secured the LaLiga title and the 27th trophy in the club's history.
