Sergio Ramos' message after own goal against Barcelona

On Friday, at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, Sergio Ramos experienced one of his worst nights since his return to Sevilla. The defender came back to face FC Barcelona after two years in Paris and, although he put in a good performance, he scored an own goal in the 76th minute that led to his team's defeat on Montjuïc.

A few hours after the defeat, the Andalusian centre-back made a post on Twitter in which he acknowledged that the defeat "hurts because of the result and the circumstances, but that strengthens us because of the image and attitude of the team. We continue to grow and we are only thinking about the Champions League."

Ramos has turned the page and is now looking ahead to Sevilla's crucial visit to PSV next Tuesday at 9pm CET. Mendilibar's side were held to a draw on the opening day of the group stage against Lens and go into the second fixture determined to claim all three points.
