Sergi Roberto says 'yes' to Barcelona's one-year contract extension offer
The La Masia graduate is set to extend his stay at Camp Nou once again
Sergi Roberto will renew his contract with FC Barcelona. The player has responded 'yes' to Barcelona's proposal to continue for another year, until 2024, with an option for another season depending on variables.
The documentation is being processed and in a few days it is expected to be officially announced. A renewal endorsed by the sports area, with Xavi Hernández at the head, given the good performances the player has produced this season.
Sergi Roberto has shown that he has fully recovered from his injury and is in good physical shape. He has played at right-back, but he has also played in midfielder and even as a defensive midfielder, as in the Copa del Rey match in Ceuta.
