Barcelona will be without the midfielder after he got injured at Atletico
FC Barcelona confirmed on Sunday that Sergi Roberto will be out for between three and four weeks with a hamstring injury.
Sergi Roberto picked up the injury in the 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid on Saturday. The academy product was taken off just before half time having started in midfield with Ivan Rakitic suspended.
Erneso Valverde, therefore, is unliekly to be able to count on Sergi Roberto for the remainder of the year. Barça's next game is against PSV on Wednesday and they close 2018 against Celta Vigo on Dec. 22.
It means Nelson Semedo is the only available right-back for the time being -- with Sergi Roberto making his most of his appearances this season as a full-back.
