Sergi Roberto hit with ban after red card against Celta Vigo
The player will miss the club's next league game, against Deportivo La Coruna
The RFEF competition comittee has decided that Sergi Roberto will be banned for one game after his straight red card against Celta Vigo.
The Barca player was dismissed in the 70th minute for "pulling back an opponent who was escaping him and heading towards goal, stopping a goalscoring chance".
Sergi Roberto misses the league clash with Deportivo La Coruna next weekend.
Dani Parejo was also banned for an elbow which saw him sent off in Valencia's defeat by Getafe. He will also miss one game.
