The forward joined Barça B in 2015 but was immediately let go because of old tweets

Real Valladolid are the visitors at Camp Nou on Saturday and they will arrive with a player known to the Barcelona fans. His stay was extremely brief, but all fans will remember the case. We're talking about Sergi Guardiola.

The forward joined Valladolid from Getafe in January, penning a four-year deal. He's quickly become a regular in Sergio Gonzalez's side. At 27, Guardiola has already played more minutes in three appearances (Celta, Huesca, Villarreal) for Valladolid (270) than all season at Getafe (165), where he featured in five games.

CONTROVERSIAL STAY AT 'CAN BARÇA'

But why was his Barcelona stay so memorable? Because Guardiola signed for Barça B in 2015 and, eight hours after his signing was announced, he was let go due controversial tweets in which he insulted Catalonia, Barcelona and praised Real Madrid.

In a statement, Barça made it clear: "The club has decided to rescing the contract signed this afternoon by the player Sergi Guardiola after learning that he had posted offensive tweets against Barcelonism and Catalonia."

His brief stay earned him the nickname the 'fleeting Cule.' On Saturday -- following spells with Granada, Adelaide United, Murcia and Cordoba --  -- he comes back with the aim of silencing Camp Nou.

In a recent interview, he said that he would celebrate a goal which would be extra special to him if he manages to score.
