The club hope he will be available for Saturday's Copa del Rey final

Good news with respect to Nelson Semedo. The Portugal right-back was given the all clear to leave hospital on Monday and will return to Barcelona after spending the night in Bilbao.

Semedo was taken off at half-time during Barça's 2-2 league draw with Eibar on Sunday after receiving a knock to the head and suffering concussion.

"Semedo has satisfactorily passed all the concussion tests and has been given the green light to leave the hospital," Barça said in a statement on Monday. "He will return to Barcelona to follow the established protocol in these cases and his return to training will be evaluated."

Remember that the full-back clashed with Eibar forward Sergi Enrich and was attended for several minutes in the first half. He continued playing at first but was later removed. He remained at a local hospital as his teammates returned to Barcelona.

However, everything suggests he will be available for Saturday's Copa del Rey final against Valencia in Seville.
