Semedo out of Barça's trip to Real Sociedad, replaced by Vidal
The full-back has tonsillitis and will remain at home

Nelson Semedo will not be at Anoeta on Sunday night. The Portuguese player, who was named in Ernesto Valverde's 18 man squad, has not travelled to San Sebastian because he is suffering from tonsillitis. Aleix Vidal has taken his place.
Semedo trained as normal on Saturday and made the squad for the game. But on Sunday morning he called the medical team and told them he was not feeling well. Tests detected tonsillitis and it was recommended he stays at home instead.
Aleix Vidal, who has not been used in recent games, is one of the players, in principle, that will leave Camp Nou this month. In recent days, the most likely option to emerge is a return to Sevilla, the club he used as a trampoline to join Barça after leaving Almeria.
The players in the squad to face Real Sociedad, then, are: Ter Stegen, Cillessen; Sergi Roberto, Piqué, Vermaelen, Alba, Mascherano, Digne; Rakitic, Paulinho, Busquets, Iniesta, Andre Gomez, Denis Suárez, Vidal; Messi, Suárez, Dembelé.
