Saudi Arabian side Abha Club continue to show interest in Lewandowski

The Barcelona striker is still a wanted man in the Saudi Pro League

The Saudi Arabian league seems to have no limits when it comes to transfers and will continue to make big signings both this winter and next summer. One of their most coveted players is Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski.

Abha Club player Saad Bguir acknowledged that the Blaugrana stiker would be the ideal signing for the club.

"We need top players like Lewandowski," he said. "That's the kind of signing we should make if possible."

Lewandowski's name was linked with Abha Club back in the summer as they are coached by former Poland coach Czeslaw Michniewicz, who has a close relationship with the Barca man.

It is true that the Saudi fund was interested in Lewandowski's situation in the summer but the Pole declined any kind of negotiation as his intention is to stay at Barça and win titles in Europe.

There is no doubt that they will keep trying, although Lewandowski has no intention of leaving Barça for now. His desire to stay in the summer was firm.

In fact, he pushed for Bayern to let him leave in an operation that came to fruition because of his predisposition. Once his contract at Barça comes to an end, he will decide on the next step in his career, but he will continue to be wanted in Arabia.

Abha Club is in the bottom half of the table with only two wins in seven league games. Finally, as a striker, they signed Ekambi from Olympique Lyon at a low cost. Other Saudi clubs have used the money from the state fund to sign top stars.
