The Napoli coach is in the running for the job at Stamford Bridge

Abramovich is looking for a replacement for Italian Antonio Conte

Maurizio Sarri is one of Chelsea's top targets to take over as manager next season. Media in England and Italy say the Napoli coach is one of the options being considered by Roman Abramovich.

Antonio Conte's time at the club appears up and the casting to replace him has begun.  La Gazzetta dello Sport has reported that Sarri ticks the boxes which Abramovich wants filled. And they add that the coach's release clause (eight million euros) would not be a problem.

Napoli president De Laurentis has warned that he plans to meet with the coach in a bid to tie him down to new terms, with the club leading Serie A.

Sarri's name adds to Luis Enrique's. The former Barcelona coach is the other top target to fill the Stamford Bridge hot seat it -- or when -- Conte leaves his post.
