Eric Abidal is among the club representatives currently in the South American country

Liziero is one of the players that Barcelona's sporting director Eric Abidal has been checking in on in Brazil this week.

According to reports in Brazil, Liziero is, along with Antony, Igor Gomes and Everton Cebolinha, one of the players the Barça delegation in the South American country at the moment are most interested in.

Liziero, per 'Globoesporte', is one of the emerging stars in Brazil and one of the players who has provoked the most interest from the Catalans.

At the end of last season, he travelled to Italy to finalise a European passport and took advantage of his trip to visit Barcelona.

With a European passport, the door is open to a number of European clubs as he wouldn't occupy a non-EU place. He visited Malcom when he was in Barcelona.

For now, he's just being followed by Barcelona. The Spanish champions don't seem to have taken anything further yet.
