Sandro Ramirez is being praised for his performances with Malaga ahead of his Camp Nou return on Saturday
Former Barcelona striker Sandro Ramirez returns on Saturday with Malaga, with five goals to his name, and is looking forward to it.
"I’m returning home, returning to Camp Nou. It will be a special game because I’ll be seeing all my old teammates, who gave me everything when I was promoted to the first team," explained the striker.
"So I’m really looking forward to it. But it’s going to be very difficult, we will have to go out with all our weapons. We’re going to have to go for the game.
"We have to score because the statistics show that Barca always score at home, so we have to go for the game to get something from it, which will be really complicated."
Regarding his switch to Malaga, he added: "You have to adapt to another style of football, another team, different teammates. But I think I’m doing OK, we’re doing OK, the most important thing is the team, no?
"We have to continue on the same path, we’re going through a good moment, now we have to go to a difficult ground, where you have to go out with the maximum will to win. I hope we can continue out good form, but if not we’ll work hard to make sure [we can do so after]."
