Samuel Eto'o has never been one to bite his tongue and his recent comments to the BBC are no different. When discussing the future of Mohamed Salah, who is reportedly upset with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, Eto'o was clear what the next step in the Egyptian's career should be.
"Real Madrid gave me the opportunity to leave Africa but I know Barcelona's style and I think it would suit him better. If he has the chance to play in the best league in the world, which is the Spanish one, he has to sign for Barcelona. Mo has everything to be one of the best players in the world."
Salah was on Madrid's shortlist for a while but now they've signed Eden Hazard, it appears a move for the Egyptian is unlikely. As for a switch to the Camp Nou, that too appears more hope than reality. Barça want to sign Griezmann and Neymar this summer and neither is going to cost less than €100m.
