Xavi will likely give a break to two of the four players who have played in each game

Xavi Hernandez insisted during the transfer market that he needed each position doubly covered, and in the case of left back, triply, as it turns out. It’s for games like these at the Nuevo Mirandilla. Barcelona play Cadiz with Bayern Munich fast approaching on the horizon. Xavi will rotate again like he did against Viktoria Plzen.

There have been four players who have played in the five games until now and two of those could be benched for a rest - Pedri and Dembele.

Ter Stegen is likely to start in goal against least until then Copa del Rey comes, while Robert Lewandowski has been undroppable so far for Xavi.

Kounde could also be rotated, who has played 270 minutes, all of those he has been available for since joining Barcelona.

Sergi Roberto is out with a knock so Ronald Araujo could go to right back, while Eric Garcia could come back in. Busquets could be behind Frenkie and Gavi in midfield, while Raphinha and Ferran could start with Lewandowski.
