Pablo Alvarez looked back to a battle in 2010 against the Brazilian

Argentine defender Pablo Alvarez played various seasons at Catania in Italy and spoke to Crack Deportivo about his time there, including facing Ronaldinho when he was at Milan.

The right-back had to defend against Ronaldinho at the San Siro and decided to stick really close to the Brazilian, marking him tightly.

"I have a story about Ronaldinho," he explained. "It was half time and we were going to the design room and he came close to me in the tunnel.

"He took off his shirt and told me 'Take it, Alvarez. Please, don't hit me anymore, and he gave me the shirt."

Pablo admitted he was very surprised by the Brazilian's reaction. "It was impossible to stop Ronaldinho, he was in the air, he was impeccable. By far one of the best players in the history of football."
