Ronald Koeman: Ousmane Dembele is a different type of player
The coach said Dembele could start on Sunday against Villarreal
Ousmane Dembele is in Barcelona’ squad to face Villarreal after getting over a groin complaint. The coach Ronald Koeman confirmed that the Frenchman is fit and he could be in line to start at the Estadio de la Ceramica.
“He’s an important and different player, one of the best at unbalancing players that we have up front,” said Koeman.
“He’s capable of breaking into the box, dribbling, facing defenders one on one, and shooting with both feet. He’s important because he’s given us a lot this season and tomorrow it’s good that he can be with us.”
Dembele completed the whole session on Saturday with the group.
“Each player in the squad has the chance of being picked from the start,” said Koeman when asked if he’d go with Dembele from the off.
