More bad news. Ronald Araujo will need an operation on his fractured hand. It could keep him out for months.
The Uruguayan centre back went off injured in the Copa del Rey win over Linares and he may not be seen on the pitch again for some time. He will have surgery on Friday.
It’s another injury blow for a club riddled with them this season. Frenkie de Jong also has a calf issue and will miss the weekend’s trip to face Granada.
