Ronald Araujo, Braithwaite and De Jong back in training for Barça
The Catalans were delighted to have the Uruguayan back after his operation on Friday
Xavi Hernandez coached the team in training on Monday ahead of the trip to Saudi Arabia and he had some good news.
Ronald Araujo, Martin Braithwaite and Frenkie de Jong did some of the session with the group, after their respective injuries. Ansu Fati also trained ahead of his comeback, while Eric Garcia and Yusuf Demir did not take part, and nor did Ferran Torres and Pedri, who are Covid-19 positive.
The squad were getting ready to face Real Madrid on Wednesday in the Spanish Super Cup semi-finals, while the other match is between Atletico Madrid and Athletic Bilbao on Thursday.
It’s a Clasico which sees Barcelona eager for a win to turn things around this season, and having lost their last few games against Real Madrid.
