Ronald Araujo is Barcelona's joint third top scorer this season
The Uruguayan defender netted against Sevilla with a big leap up to nod the ball home
Ronald Araujo is one of the most dangerous players Barcelona have. That says something, but it’s true. The Uruguayan is hugely capable in the air and showed it in the 1-1 draw with Sevilla. He nodded home the equaliser from Ousmane Dembele’s corner.
It is his second goal of the season. It would be the third if his strike against Benfica had not been ruled out for offside by a fraction. He is the third top scorer at the club this season, joint with Coutinho, Braithwaite, Pique, Nico and Sergi Roberto. Memphis is the top scorer with right, and Ansu Fati behind him has four.
Xavi has been using Araujo in a position that he has rarely appeared in before, at right back, but he is coping.
