The summer changes continue at pace at the Catalan club

On the day that one of the club's biggest promises, Abel Ruiz, renewed his Barcelona contract, one of the most loved players in the Barça B dressing room bid farewell.

Rodri Tarin, who is out of contract on June 30, brings to an end seven years of service to the Catalan club.

The Valencia born centre-back wrote an emotional message on his social media accounts to say goodbye to the supporters.

He wrote: "I wanted to say goodbye to you all. Today is a sad day and at the same time an exciting one because of the new project which has come up away from Barça. I arrived at this club as a 15-year-old when I was chasing a dream that all kids of that age do.

"However, I had no idea what was waiting for me in the next seven years of my life. The club offered me the chance to become a professional footballer and I achieved my dream. I want to highlight that Barça have made me the person I am today. It’s been my home since I got to La Masia.

"I want to thank everyone that’s acted as my family, everyone that works day and night at La Masia for us to reach our goals. Professionally, it’s been awesome to defend these colours and I believe I have given everything every time I have worn them, be that in training or matches.

"I also want to highlight the role of the coaches, directors, physios, medics, delegates, kit men, the people from the press department and the fans for all they have taught me and how they have helped me. THANK YOU! Barça and Barcelona will always be in my heart.

Meanwhile, in Brazil, they've confirmed that Vitinho has returned to Palmeiras after the forward failed to convince Barça during his season-long loan -- at least not to the point of paying the 15 million euro option to sign him.

Vitinho is currently back in his homeland waiting to find out if he will travel to Costa Rica and Panama to take part in a series of friendlies for Palmeiras.
