Robert Lewandowski is living his first months in Barcelona wearing the Blaugrana shirt. Despite the 0-0 draw on the opening day at the Camp Nou against Rayo Vallecano, the Pole is not discouraged and is ambitious about the possibility of returning Barça to the top.

In an interview granted to LaLiga World, Lewy spoke about his arrival at the Blaugrana club, his collective aspirations and the timing of his arrival in Xavi's team. "I think it's been too long for Barcelona without winning titles, I'm sure we're going to win them," admitted the striker.

The 9 was clear from the first moment that Barça's offer was the right one for his career. "When I first learned that Barcelona were interested in bringing me to the club, I thought it was the perfect moment, for me and the club," the Pole revealed.

Lewandowski acknowledged that he was looking for a change of scenery after playing his entire career between Poland and Germany. "In the Bundesliga, it went well, it was a great experience for me, but I knew it was a step forward for my career to go to La Liga," said the 34-year-old.
