Robert Lewandowski and Barcelona: Total commitment
The Polish striker wants to come to Camp Nou this summer and will not extend in Bavaria
Robert Lewandowski is the player Barcelona have chosen to lead their attack for next season. The club are working on a deal with Bayern Munich. They have convinced the striker totally.
The Polish hitman has been working to make a move happen and it has angered Bayern fans.
“He is incredibly ungrateful,” and “He is destroying his legend status” were some comments from Bayern fans to Sport1. Directors Hasan Salihamidzic and Oliver Kahn have said they don’t understand his stance. Lewandowski has one year left on his Bayern deal.
The forward wants the matter solved by the time pre-season starts. He does not want to go back and train with Bayern again. The longer he has with Barcelona to bed in, the better.
The Catalans’ bet is firm. Despite their adverse financial situation, they would sit Lewandowski at the top of their salary structure. They will make an effort to sign the man Xavi wants most, a guarantee of goals and points. The agreement between club and player is total. The dance with Bayern, over the price, continues.
