Robert Fernández tells Aleix Vidal to listen to Adriano Correia

Although it seems like it at first, this isn't an invitation for the right-back to pack his bags

FC Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez had some advice for Aleix Vidal. He told him to follow the example of former Blaugrana defender Adriano Correia, who left the club last summer.

Although it seems like it at first, this isn't an invitation for the right-back to pack his bags. In reality, Robert refers to what the Brazilian said a few days ago when speaking to Catalan radio, when he said that he should have done more to stay at Barcelona.

Fernandez told TV3: "Aleix should continue working, believe in his hope, a few days ago Adriano says he was mistaken and that if he had a different attitude he would be at Barcelona still. It's a good quote. Aleix should keep working and believing."

Aleix has been left out for seven squads in a row, but he still has time to change his spot, says Fernandez. "In summer as well as the coach, me too, we said that the right-backs were Sergi Roberto and Aleix Vidal, we still think the same. He's a good player and we are waiting, there's time for him to change his situation."
