The French forwad has one year to run on his contract and is interesting PSG

RMC's Fabrice Hawkins reports that Paris Saint-Germain are ready to pay Ousmane Dembélé's release clause in the next few days to sign the Barcelona forward.

At the moment, the clause linking Dembélé to Barça is only €50 million until 31 July, when it rises to €100 million.

This was the formula that was agreed when the player renewed for two years last summer. The journalist also says that the operation would not be related to the Kylian Mbappé case, that coach Luis Enrique is keen on the deal and that the French team is trying to convince the player to sign a five-year deal.

In Diario SPORT, we have reported that the player's intention is not to move from Barcelona. Just as he ignored the interest of Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr, who were willing to put a pharaonic contract on the table for him, he will have no problem in saying 'no' to PSG if at some point they take a step forward to try to sign him.

He is very excited ahead of his seventh season at Barça and, after lifting La Liga 2022/23, is keen to continue winning major trophies as a Barça player.
