"In view of all the information released yesterday, the RFEF considers it essential to inform the media and the general public of the following:

"1.- Following the elections to the Presidency of the RFEF at the end of May 2018, with the arrival of the current governing team, the leadership of the CTA was renewed, dismissing the previous directors, including Mr. Enríquez Negreira.

"2.- The RFEF requires, in addition to the declaration of no conflicts of interest from all members of various bodies and employees, an extended declaration signed by all members of the disciplinary and referee appointment committees in which they are obliged to detail any income, apart from that received in the RFEF, which could be related to football for the purposes of being able to evaluate and verify the effective and real non-existence of conflicts of interest. All members have submitted and signed these documents.

"3.- The Integrity Department initiated yesterday a confidential inquiry by addressing requests to the heads of both the CTA and FC Barcelona.

"4.- The RFEF agreed yesterday to appear in any possible legal proceedings on this matter.

"5.- As soon as sufficient information is available, the RFEF will adopt the corresponding measures within the framework of legality that must prevail in all these situations."
