Bayern Munich are unlikely to make the Brazilian's loan permanent in the summer

Chelsea could be Philippe Coutinho's next destination, according to British newspaper The Mirror, once his loan at Bayern Munich comes to an end.

The Mirror explain that Coutinho's agents have approached Chelsea about a summer move that would take the Brazilian back to the Premier League, where he excelled for Liverpool.

Barcelona are open to selling and want to recoup as much as the 160 million euros they spent on him in January of 2018.

Coutinho is currently on loan at Bayern, who have an option to sign him for 120 million in the summer. However, the German club are unlikely to take up their option.

The Brazilian would prefer to return to England than Camp Nou, where he didn't live up to expectations in his 18 months with the club.

Liverpool are not interested in taking him back but Chelsea are. Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United are also keen depending on the details of any potential deal.

Chelsea have already committed to paying 37 million on Ajax star Hakim Ziyech and are also, like many others, following Jadon Sancho's situation at Borussia Dortmund.
