Barça, though, tell SPORT they're focused on other players
In recent hours, there has been a number of rumours involving the movement currently taking place in the offices at Barcelona.
The latest is that Barcelona and Valencia have been in contact over the transfer of midfielder Dani Parejo. Barça are looking at their options and the Spanish player has appeared on the table. Ernesto Valverde knows him well from his time at Valencia in 2012-13.
Parejo has a release clause of 50 million euros although he would likely leave Los Che for a much cheaper price.
Barcelona, according to sources at the club, don't consider this a deal which is likely to be pushed through, though, with efforts instead focusing on Philippe Coutinho and Angel Di Maria.
