Red hot Aguero's latest hat-trick moves him closer to Messi
Two trebles in a week have allowed the Argentine to power up the Golden Shoe standings
Manchester City striker Sergio Kun Aguero scored his second hat-trick in a week as his side hammered Chelsea 6-0 on Sunday.
Aguero, who also scored a treble last weekend against Arsenal, is now the joint top scorer in the Premier League, level with Mo Salah, on 17.
The two men are chasing Lionel Messi -- Aguero's friend and fellow Argentine -- in the race for the European Golden Shoe. Barça's forward has 21 before Sunday's game against Athletic Club.
In addition, Aguero is now level with Alan Shearer on 11 Premier League hat-tricks. No one else can match that figure.
Not content with all that, Kun also positioned himself as the top scorer in the Premier League against Chelsea, with 10, one more than Shearer.
