Reasons for Ousmane Dembele PSG transfer delay
Everything seemed to indicate that the official announcement of Ousmane Dembele's signing for Paris Saint-Germain would be made on Friday August 4th. However, as the hours went by, it became clear that everything was delayed, and the reasons for the delay are now known.
According to L'Équipe, Dembele should have passed his medical with PSG today, but the examination was delayed because FC Barcelona did not hand over the paperwork to confirm the transfer.
Thus, Barça are taking longer than expected to deliver the official paperwork to close the transfer deal for the French striker.
Despite that, everything indicates that there will be no problems in closing the deal and that it is all set to go through in a matter of hours.
