Real Sociedad negotiating loan deal for Memphis Depay with Barcelona
The Dutch striker has been told he can leave Barça and La Real need an Isak replacement
Real Sociedad want to sign Memphis Depay and are negotiating a possible deal with Barcelona, who are prepared to let the player leave.
Per El Desmarque, La Real want the Dutchman to boost their attack after striker Alexander Isak joined Newcastle United for €70 million this week.
The Basque side are also in talks to bring back Alexander Sorloth. The Norwegian is liked by coach Imanol Alguacil, who hopes to bring the striker from RB Leipzig.
However, La Real also have the option to sign Memphis on the table. Talks have been held over a loan deal but the Dutchman's salary is prohibitive.
Barça hope to move Memphis on before the transfer window closes after a transfer to Juventus fell through.
