The Sevilla defender is a wanted man this summer transfer window

Real Madrid and their coach Zinedine Zidane are closely following Clement Lenglet and hope to torpedo Barcelona's attempts to sign the Sevilla defender.

While Barça have accelerated their move for Lenglet and are ready to pay his 30 million euro buyout clause, Madrid have just emerged on the scene.

According to El Desmarque, "Madrid are also keeping tabs on Lenglet's future. The Frenchman is liked by Zidane and a move for the defender can't be ruled out."

Madrid's interest could harm Barcelona's conversations with Lenglet and Sevilla, who will try and convince the defender to stay after securing their place in the Europa League next season.

The 30 million release clause has made Lenglet hot property, which is where Madrid's interest has come from.
