Real Betis join list of clubs keen on signing the Barcelona winger Abde

Abde's impressive season on loan at Osasuna is not going unnoticed. With three months to go until the end of the campaign and, by extension, his profitable loan spell at Osasuna, more than a few teams are already interested in finding out what Barcelona's intentions are regarding the Moroccan winger.

Abde's characteristics are very popular in the Premier League, where he has attracted the attention of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Nottingham Forest and Chelsea. But also in LaLiga the list of suitors is extensive. Osasuna, who would be delighted to extend his loan spell for another season, have already been joined by Atletico Madrid. And now it is Real Betis who want to start negotiations with the Blaugrana to try to secure a preferential option in the summer.

It is not the first time that Betis have considered the Moroccan to reinforce their attacking line, but the interest will intensify if Ramon Planas becomes the new sporting director to replace Antonio Cordon, who agreed to leave the club at the end of February.

During his time as technical secretary of Barcelona, Planas was the architect of the signing of Abde, for who the Catalan club paid €2 million to Hercules. And now he would be one of his bets for Betis, who have among their priorities the incorporation of a winger.

Barça are very happy with the progression shown by Abde, to the point that they are considering looking for a place for him in the first team. The difficulties in complying with the financial fair play required by LaLiga play in favour of this option, which was already decided in the summer when they flatly refused to include a purchase option in his loan contract to Osasuna.

Betis want to be well positioned in case Barça decide not to use the Moroccan international's services.
