Quique Setien's XI for Barcelona's LaLiga restart against Mallorca

With Lenglet banned, Umtiti wil start, but what about Luis Suarez?

La Liga returns this week with Barcelona taking on Mallorca on Saturday after a three-month pause due to the coronavirus crisis.

Quique Setien's side are extremely motivated for the restart after training at Camp Nou this weekend and are desperate to get back to competitive football.

Setien has no doubts in goal ahead of the trip to Mallorca. Ter Stegen will start. In defence, Sergi Roberto will win the battle with Nelson Semedo, who is not 100 percent fit. In the middle of the back four, Gerard Pique will be partnered by Samuel Umtiti as Clement Lenglet is suspended. Jordi Alba will play at left-back.

ARTURO OR ARTHUR

In midfielder, Sergio Busquets and Frenkie de Jong will start as usual. The question is who will partner them? Arturo Vidal is likely to win that battle, leaving Arthur Melo on the bench amid reports of a move to Juventus. Ivan Rakitic will also be a substitute.

SUAREZ OR BRAITHWAITE

Further forward, in Barça's usual 4-3-3, Messi will not miss the start of the campaign. The Argentine forward has not been 100 percent and for that reason has not risked himself in recent days. However, he will be fit for the restart.

Alongside him, Antoine Griezmann will be there. The question, then, is whether Luis Suarez or Martin Braithwaite will complete the attacking trident? The Uruguayan is fit again, and scored in an inter-squad friendly at the weekend, but will Setien choose to reserve him after a five-month absence following knee surgery? If he does reserve him, Braithwaite will be the chosen man.

Barça have a two-point lead on Real Madrid with 11 games to go. After Mallorca, they host Leganes, before a trip to Sevilla and a home game against Athletic Club. LaLiga is back.
