Quique Setien reveals details of his relationship with Barça players

After defending his assistant, Eder Sarabia, Barcelona coach Quique Setien spoke about his relationship with the dressing room at the Catalan club. 

Setien wanted to make it clear that "we are delighted with the dressing room we have found here. There are no problems. I thought it would be more difficult than it is. The players are accepting everything with an extraordinary attitude. Some give their opinion but because we ask for it, nothing more. They all know their place and are working with an extraordinary attitude and can see that there are things that are improving." 

He added that the "only reality is that we have an extraordinary relationship with the guys. They haven't complained about anything at all. Maybe you don't want to here it but we have an excellent relationship with the players. " 

The Barça coach continued: Like in any part of life, you have to earn (the players') confidence. When you have a CV like many of these players, years winning everything, when done things as they have done for so long so well, when someone new comes you are always looking at what this new person can add (...) some are convinced quicker, others take longer.

"That's part of life and my job, earning their confidence and transmitting to them that my knowledge can help. Everything that is happening is normal and maybe you (the press) are looking at it from a different perspective in search of more than there is, but there's nothing more there."
