Quique Setien makes a statement about his Barcelona contract
The coach and the club have now come to an agreement about his final payment
Former FC Barcelona coach Quique Setién announced that in the coming hours he will publish a statement in which he will explain what is going on with the liquidation of his deal.
He was sacked by Josep Maria Bartomeu after the 8-2 Champions League thrashing by Bayern. He appeared on Deportes Cuatro and said: "Everything is (OK), almost everything. Within a few hours we'll send a statement."
The Setien situation is important because without his deal with Barca being paid off or tied up, Koeman can not sit on Barcelona's bench. After days of negotiations they have reached a deal - and that will be made official by the coach soon.
