The former coach explains an anecdote from his time at Barça with the Catalan centre-back in the limelight

Away from the bench since leaving Barça two seasons ago, Quique Setién lives quietly in Cantabria surrounded by cows and peace. He is in no hurry to accept an offer, but neither is he closed to returning to coaching. No rush.

Quique spoke to 'Movistar+' in a documentary in which he shows his day-to-day life and reviews many chapters of his long career, both as a player and as a coach.

In the final part, he talks about his time at FC Barcelona. He chose not to talk about Leo Messi, but he did talk about Gerard Piqué and offered a curious anecdote.

"I'm going to tell you an anecdote, do you remember a game when Piqué cycled down to the dressing room? They showed me the video before the game started and that day we only had two centre-backs: him and I don't know if it was Lenglet. So, when they showed me the video, I went up to him and said 'hey, Gerard, what about this?'," explained Setién, who to his surprise was met by a calm Piqué who responded with "míster, no pasa nada".

"Listen to me, now when the match is over and I have to go to the press conference to give the explanations I have to give and they ask me about this, what do I say?" added Setién.

Piqué did not give the matter any importance and, according to the coach, he ended up being the best player of the match.
