Quique Setien calls up 14 youth team players for Barcelona training
10 Barça B players and four from the u19s trained with the first team on Monday
Quique Setien continues to try and see as many players from Barcelona's academy as possible throughout the season. Barça have been left with a small squad of just 18 players and the coach is going to have to call on La Masia from time to time.
On Monday, following Sunday's 2-1 win against Leganes, he called up a total of 10 players from Barça B, who beat Prat 2-1 on Sunday to move second in their league.
Iñaki Peña, Sergi Puig, Mingueza, Cuenca, Monchu, Matheus, Riqui Puig, Collado, Rey Manaj and Ansu Fati were the B team players cited.
Setien also called up four players from Barca U19s: Mika, Antonio Jesús, Konrad and Nils. In total, 14 players from the academy trained with the first team.
Barça have two tough games this week. They are away at Athletic Club in the Copa del Rey quarterfinal on Sunday and then travel to Real Betis in La Liga on Sunday.
