Carles Puyol says Barça's "Pique is the best centre-back in the world"
The former Barcelona captain says his ex-teammate's better than he ever was
Carles Puyol should always be listened to. The former Barcelona captain made history at the Catalan club and spoke to MARCA while on the UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour about a range of subjects.
Puyol, who still has an excellent relationship with Gerard Pique, was full of praise for his ex-teammate: "Gerard is better than me, better than Sergio Ramos ... he is the best centre-back in the world. He's key for Barça in everything he brings, his leadership, how he competes. He's a phenomenon and a great friend."
