PSG: The same tactic with Ousmane Dembele as with Lionel Messi
They are waiting for the French forward until the end of the season
PSG have told Ousmane Dembele they are interested in him in a free transfer at the end of the season, the same thing they did to Lionel Messi last year. They said if he didn’t reach a deal with Barcelona they wanted him. They are not interfering in Barcelona’s negotiations but instead leaving their door open.
PSG expect Kylian Mbappe will leave at the end of the season and might look to Dembele to replace him.
Barcelona have given Dembele an ultimatum, saying they have made their last offer to him.
PSG have told Dembele’s agent they are happy to have him. “We’re waiting for you,” they said.
If Dembele chooses not to stay at Barcelona then a PSG move is a likely switch for him to make.
