PSG and Qatar plotting a move for Barça forward Ousmane Dembélé if Mbappé leaves
According to 'Footmercato', PSG will sell Mbappé if they fail to renew him and Dembélé is the most preferred replacement
Qatar and PSG are trying everything in their power to make Mbappé stay in Paris. Either he renews his contract and stays beyond 2024 or cash in on a big money sale. They want to avoid the worst-case scenario of him running down his contract.
The most likely outcome is a sale and the Parisian club are willing to part with their best player as long as an offer that benefits all parties arrives. A wide range of price tags have been floated, some as high as 200 million euros to convince Qatar.
With the Frenchman's departure all but imminent, PSG are obliged to find a guaranteed replacement. With Messi leaving PSG are already searching for a top striker to join Neymar and Mbappé, but they would need one even more if the Frenchman were to leave as well. And one name is the most talked about: Ousmane Dembélé.
It is not the first time that the Catalan player has been linked with PSG. However, it seems that the interest is genuine this time.
