The promising youngsters Barça are tracking in UEFA Youth League final

Hajduk Split and AZ Alkmaar meet in the prestigious final later on Monday

Hajduk Split and AZ Alkmaar will meet in the final of the UEFA Youth League on Monday at 18:00h at the Stade de Genève in Geneva. It is a final that few imagined at the beginning of the season.

One of the teams that has left the best sensations in the competitions has been AZ Alkmaar, who have been able to overcome teams like Barcelona and Real Madrid. The big clubs will be watching this final to see some of the great promises of European football.

Among them Barça, who are following several players from both teams. One of the most popular is Hajduk Split's young Croatian centre-back Luka Vuskovic. At the age of 16, Vuskovic has already made his debut with the first team and can play both at centre-back and as a pivot. He also stands out due to his stature (193 centimetres). 

The AZ stars

Another centre-back who is also on Barça's list is AZ's Wouter Goes, who is 18 years old and already knows what it is like to play with the first team. Goes has been a key member of his team in this Youth League and several clubs are tracking him. 

Barça have also been eyeing two strikers from the Dutch side: Mexx Meerdink, scorer of two goals against Barça this season, and Ro-Zangelo Daal, both 19 years old.

Both have been important cogs in an AZ side that has impressed everyone this season. 

Barça, who lost 3-0 at the Johan Cruyff despite having players like Lamine Yamal, Chadi Riad, Ilias, Barberà and Marc Casadó in the starting XI, can attest.
