President-elect Joan Laporta in the box to watch Barça thrash Huesca
The new president, having got his guarantee, watched on as Barca won out
New Barca president Joan Laporta watched the club’s 4-1 win over Huesca from the presidential box at Camp Nou. He didn’t want to miss the clash which saw the Catalans climb within four points of Atletico Madrid at the top of La Liga.
Laporta will take possession of the presidency on Wednesday after signing the guarantee of 124.6 million euros. He will be officially appointed on Wednesday.
Laporta was accompanied by Carles Tusquets and Rafa Yuste in the box.
Before winning the elections Laporta went to the Sevilla Copa clash with Font and Freixa, then having won headed to Paris for the Champions League draw with PSG.
