Made the big saves when he had to, always maintaining his focus. One from Salah was particularly good. Takes the pressure of others with his stops.
Sergi Roberto 6
Struggled to get forward due to threat on the Liverpool left. Better when he went into midfield when Semedo replaced Coutinho.
Gerard Pique 8
The centre-back was caught out by Liverpool's pressing early on but quickly reacted and was obliged to be switched on for the whole game. Was brilliant, though.
Clement Lenglet 6
Started cold and it wasn't a game for that. Pique had to cover him a couple of times. The more Liverpool pressed, the better he got, but Salah gave him a tough time.,
Jordi Alba 7
Interesting battle with Salah, with both getting the better of the other in attack. Set up the first goal with a great cross -- one of many in the game.
Sergio Busquets 6
There were a couple of times when the world turned around him as he got on with his business. Always plays the same: control, calm, assured.

Brought into add strength in the midfield. Without him, Barça would have suffered more in the first half, although they did still struggle after the break. Worked as hard as anyone.

Was tasked with going from box to box. Without stopping. Was always in defence and always joining in attacks. He didn't stop, but it was ugly work.
Coutinho 4
Played well in the first half but he's not a football for the tough times. Lost his way after the beak and was taken off to jeers.

Welcome to God's temple. When the ball reaches him, time stops. And that's it. There's nothing else to be said. He touched it less than normal because Barça weren't at their best but he made everything happen when he did get it.

He's the boss in the box. There's no one that can stop him in there. Ghosted between two defenders to open the scoring against his former side.

Le tocó el papel de ver lo que pasaba y no perderse nada porque, en cualquier momento debía intervenir. Al inicio del segundo tiempo, sacó una mano que evitó el empate y otra a Salah. Eso de la presión y tal es para otros. Él a lo suyo.
Le costó saber en qué momento debía irse hacia arriba y en qué otros vigilar su espalda. Siempre bien colocado, pero sufriendo como todos. Semedo salió por Coutinho y avanzó su posición.
El central se vio sorprendido por un Liverpool que presionaba muy arriba y ello le obligó a estar muy atento desde el primer minuto. Metido hasta creer que la vida dura noventa miuntos.
Entró frío al partido y no era un partido para entrar frío. Piqué tuvo que cubrirle en varias ocasiones. Cuando más apretaba el Liverpool, empezó a entender de qué iba la cosa.
Salah le retó y le volvió a retar. Una tras otra y sin parar. Seguramente fue el partido en el que más sufrió de la temporada. Pero, a la que ellos se despistaron, asistencia para Suárez.
El mundo gira a su alrededor mientras él sigue a lo suyo. Siempre juega igual: control, mirada a su lado y pase. Un día para ejercer de secundario como él sabe hacerlo. "Pa' un roto y un descosío".
Salió a solidificar el centro del campo y a evitar sustos. Sin él el Barça habría sufrido más en el primer tiempo y, pese a que también lo hizo en el segundo, su trabajo lo hace como nadie.
Fue el encargado de bajar, subir, bajar, subir, bajar, subir. Sin parar. Estuvo en defensa siempre y, cuando tocaba, pocas veces, arriba. No paró. Partido feo.
Jugó un buen primer tiempo, pero no es futbolista cuando la cosa se pone fea. Ahí navega y le falta que alguien le diga "espabila, nen". Una segunda mitad del típico talentoso sin sangre.
Bienvenidos al templo de D10S. Cuando le llega al balón, se para el tiempo. Y ya está, no hay nada más que decir. La tocó menos de lo que es habitual y, lógicamente, el Barça fue menos brillante. Pero tiene un imán para atraer el balón. Que pase el siguiente. Marca las horas y lo que le dé la gana.
Es el jefe, del área se entiende. Ahí no tiene nadie que le dé órdenes porque el uruguayo manda. En el segundo tiempo casi ni la olió y eso es mala señal, pero si aparece, pues ya está. 2-0.
Entró para evitar la fuga de agua que se había abierto con Mané. El Liverpool empezó a atacar más por la derecha. Algo haría bien.
Salió para disfrutar del ambiente.
En tan poco tiempo no pueden hacerse tantas cosas mal. Falló la sentencia definitiva.
