The plan for Barcelona's homage to Gerard Pique at Camp Nou
There will be a big banner reading 'Sempr3' and players will also wear special warm up shirts
This won't be any regular Saturday for Gerard Pique. The Barcelona defender is bowing out at 35 years old against Almeria at Camp Nou, in either his last or penultimate game for the club, and certainly his last at home.
Barcelona have arranged for a huge banner to pay homage to a legend who played 615 times over 14.5 years for Barcelona, winning 30 titles.
The banner will read 'Sempr3' (always), with Pique's No 3 embedded. Players will warm up with Pique's name on their tops and the same word too.
The big screen at Camp Nou will show a video about the defender, the player with the fifth most appearances in the club's history. An emotional and special day to say goodbye to a Barca legend.
