Barcelona kick off their Champions League campaign against the Hungarian champions

Barcelona's first Champions League game of the 2020-21 season brings full debuts for new signings Miralem Pjanic and Francisco Trincao against Ferencvaros.

Pjanic comes into the midfield alongside Frenkie de Jong, with Sergio Busquets dropping to the bench ahead of Saturday's Clasico against Real Madrid.

Further forward, Trincao replaces Griezmann, while Ansu Fati and Philippe Coutinho also return at the expense of Ousmane Dembele and Pedri.

Ronald Koeman's side kick off their European campaign against the Hungarian champions at an empty Camp Nou, with a trip to Juventus next up after the weekend's Clasico.

It's been 16 years since Barça first lost their first game in the Champions League: Oct. 20, 2004. Therefore, since Messi's been around, they've never lost their first game in the Champions League.

FC BARCELONA XI: Neto; Sergi Roberto, Piqué, Lenglet, Sergiño Dest; De Jong, Pjanic; Trincao, Coutinho, Ansu Fati; Messi.
