Umtiti had a problem with his knee and did not train, Pique worked alone
Barcelona have trouble in defence. This morning the club announced that Pique was working alone. Later AS said that Samuel Umtiti did not train because his knee felt discomfort. Along with that, Clement Lenglet is suspended and cannot play Getafe on Saturday.
That means Barcelona, if all goes wrong, could end up with no centre-backs. Ronald Araujo, the B team defender, could be used. Meanwhile the club will be regretting Todibo's departure to Schalke 04.
Pique played at San Mames but came off injured. He was suspended against Real Betis. Umtiti's knee problems have been going on for a while so this will be a worry now because for a while it seemed like he was okay.
