The defender says even a blind person could see what Barça's problems are

Gerard Pique says Barcelona's players are "suffering" and added they wouldn't have scored even if they had played for three hours against Atletico Madrid on Saturday.

Thomas Lemar and Luis Suarez were on target as Atletico beat Barça 2-0 to inflict their first defeat in LaLiga on them this season.

"We played started OK, we went after the game," Pique told Movistar. "We were brave in that sense. Then they score two goals with two identical moves from very little.

"And from there we could have played another three hours and not scored a goal. It's difficult. We're suffering, to be honest. There's nothing else for it now but to keep working hard, fighting, rest in the break and come back renewed."

Asked what Barça's problem is, Pique added: "It's not one problem, (there are) various. I think people know, even a blind person can see what we're lacking.

"Despite that, we will recover from this and from Wednesday (against Benfica). These are difficult times, I won't lie to you. A lot of us have not been through this before...

"But the relationship in the dressing room between the players is very good. We all want to turn the situation around. But it's not easy to be honest."
