Pique on red card shouts: Inform yourselves before protesting!
The defender took to Twitter to respond to those claiming he should have had a second yellow
Not a day without a viral tweet from Gerard Pique. The FC Barcelona captain has become the master when it comes to responding to controversial issue on social media and Saturday has not been an exception.
In Madrid, they called for him to be sent off after a second-half tackle which they felt deserved a second booking -- without realising that Pique, at that moment, had not been booked,
The confusion arose after the commentary team on Movistar Plus assured that Pique had already been handed a yellow card when he made anther risky challenge to end a Granada attack.
A los que os quejáis de una posible expulsión mía, estaría bien que supierais que he acabado el partido sin tarjeta amarilla, así que informaros antes de protestar. Es así no @2010MisterChip? Enseña el acta cuando puedas!

However, Pique had not been booked and was not booked as Barça dropped two points in a 1-1 draw against Granada at the weekend.
"To those complaining about a possible red card for me, it would be nice if you knew that I ended the game without a yellow card, so inform yourselves before protesting," Pique wrote.
